Rocket is proud to share with youa range of 21 really fun rock-inspired home and wearable accessories just launched on crowdfunding site Kickstarter.
Our aim was to reinvent boring, utilitarian items and turn them into something new and soulful. We borrowed iconic rock-n-roll shapes to give new life to an eclectic mix of commoplace items, such as kitchen and bar utensils, headphone accessories, and other home furnishings.

Print machines now-a-days are essentially a printhead running left and right on a moving piece of paper. We asked ourselves, why not get rid of the entire device, just put the printhead on a set of small wheels and let it run across a piece of paper. By doing so, we allow the printer to really be as little as possible.
Our printer is entirely fitted for our day to day life. It has a rechargeable battery with an on\off switch, it connects directly to smartphones and to PCs, and it allows the user to print on any size piece of paper.

Texas-based designer, strategist and inventor Michael McDaniel was having a morning coffee as usual, when he suddenly came across a brilliant solution to disaster relief housing.
His idea was the Exo Housing System, a smart and portable shelter that has two parts. It resembles how an inverted coffee cup would look. The base of the housing unit is flat like a coffee lid, and the overturned cup acts as the shelter.
Together with great designers, technologists, and business minds, he set up Reaction, a company that aims to ‘revolutionize disaster response’. To date, they have been deeply invested in the Exo Housing Unit.
Exo units are light enough to be moved by hand, but tough enough to withstand bullets.
URB-E has a 20 mile range on a single charge, a top speed of 15mph, and can fold small enough to fit next to you on a train or bus.
It takes only one second to convert the URB-E from something the size of carry on luggage to a ‘go anywhere’ personal e-vehicle! Although there are other options for mobility devices such as bicycles and larger, more expensive e-vehicles on the market, it is not always possible to take these vehicles with you while traveling on a crowded train or bus during rush hour. Because of its amazingly compact size and ability to stay with you while traveling on a train, bus, or trunk of your car, the URB-E makes for the perfect commuter companion.

Strawbees is a construction kit based on one simple unit that lets you connect straws to each other. You stick a Strawbee into the ends of a standard quarter inch (6mm) straw to make struts and then connect them with another Strawbee.
With the Strawbees you can build everything from mathematical shapes like the platonic solids to mechanical birds, claws, or even huge animated snakes.
Just come up with an idea and start building, or simply start building and see where you end up. With the Strawbees you can always modify things as you go, add straws, cut straws, or add new connections to get a stronger, more flexible or bigger construction.
The claw above is made by searching for crabs claws on Youtube and image search on Google. That was enough to reverse engineer a claw with the strong muscle being a human hand and a rubber band for the weak opening action muscle.
Besides connecting straws the Strawbees can be used to connect cardboard. This means you can build large scale mechanical objects from cardboard with the same pieces you use for the straws.
These kickstarter kits are in an early stage and will not feature any instructions, instead we are going to post instruction videos on already available video sharing and instruction platforms. But the best part is that you don’t really need any instructions to get started, just look at a mechanical object and try to reverse engineer it.
